Pandemic end-of-year assessment: fail in governance
Abstract
Governance – a term that indicates the structures and actions for collective decision-making – has proven to be a point of weakness in the pandemic story. In particular, risk governance, which includes risk assessment, management and communication, appeared weak. Regarding this last point, we must never tire of reiterating that informing does not mean communicating or in other words that in addition to the "administration" of messages, listening and feedback must be valued.
