Frasassi: the little big story of the caves. Pedagogy, land, life, humanity
Keywords:
Frasassi caves, Big historyAbstract
The Frasassi Caves represent a particular place not only for the surprising beauty of their natural characteristics, but also for the ability to represent the intersection point between different historical paths, where the reconstructions of cosmology, geology, geochemistry, biology, paleontology, archeology and art history converge. The study of caves, articulated interdisciplinarily, represents an exemplary field of application of Big History, the discipline that tends to reconstruct a unified vision of phenomena and events thanks to the combination of all fields of knowledge.
