Consequences of war on the climate crisis and scientific research

Abstract

The war is not only causing devastation to human beings, but also very serious damage to ecosystems - partly similar to those already studied in previous wars, partly new. In terms of scientific research, we can obviously expect an increase in research for war purposes  and a diversion of resources in this sense, but also a serious decrease in scientific democracy.
