Abstract

In this section we present one zoological family group at a time, as an example of animal variety. The family is a taxonomic unit containing a set of species having certain characteristics in common, the result of evolution, which testify to the origin from a single progenitor. This "portrait" deals with Tremoctopodidae, a monogeneric family with four species.
