In the article, the author reflects on the role of school in cultural transmission and on the objectives that should be achieved so that students become able to recognize and connect different aspects of any problematic situation, using complex thinking strategies. Attention should be focused on everyday reality through multiple and interdisciplinary questions, to learn how to find explanations for events by linking them to others and representing relationships through various symbolic languages. It will also be important to develop an ethical perspective on reality, including through examples of professionalism demonstrated by teachers.
