Populationism and Malthusianism

Abstract

The article clarifies the historical reasons for populationism, linked to a "reason of state" that is no longer acceptable today, and reconstructs the events of anarchist Malthusianism which had a certain diffusion in Italy in the first decades of the twentieth century.
