Information, participation and Citizen Science on environment and health
Abstract
Since the 1970s, an impressive sequence of environmental disasters of anthropogenic origin - from Seveso, to Bophal, to Chernobyl - and the consequent popular protests have stimulated new significant studies and important administrative and legislative interventions that go in the direction of promoting information , participation and involvement in citizens' decisions.
