Abstract

The article explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence in the school context, moving beyond catastrophic narratives to embrace a constructive vision. It analyzes the tangible benefits for teachers, in terms of supporting lesson planning and creating inclusive materials, and for students, who can find a personalized Socratic tutor in Gemini's “Gems”. Through the author’s personal experience and her book, Sola con la mia dislessia, it also emerges how AI can become an indispensable “interpreter” for those with learning disabilities, restoring autonomy. Finally, it examines how these technologies can support parents in guiding their children’s educational journey, transforming AI from a threat to a powerful ally for the educational community.
