Abstract

What is the current state of health of natural science teaching in secondary schools? The reduction, in many courses of study, of the discipline's timetable puts at risk the possibility of teaching science through laboratory practice, which is important for meaningful and lasting learning. The article suggests some strategies for carrying out simple experimental
activities, both in curricular and extracurricular time, through the activation of research and active citizenship projects and paths.
