Seneca en la scena española moderna

Abstract

We present an overview of the most important performances of Seneca’s tragedies in Spain, from the first (1933) to the last (2021), evaluating aspects related to the text, the dramaturgy, the directorial decisions, the socio-historical and cultural context, the audience’s reception.
