La Nutrice-maga e il rito negromantico di Ps.-Seneca Herc. Oet. 458-460
Abstract
This article deals with the textual and interpretative problems emerging from the passage of Ps.-Seneca’s Hercules Oetaeus in which the Nutrix claims to have magical powers (452 ss.). It explains the meaning of this cue within the tragedy’s dramatic development and proposes a new interpretation of ll. 458-460 in order to preserve the transmitted text.
