‘Obligation’, ‘obbligazione’ and ‘obbligo’ in H.L.A. Hart

In this article I will try to answer the following question: how to translate into Italian the term ‘obligation’ as used by H.L.A. Hart in his works? Without omitting to consider what Hart says about the concept of obligation, I will argue in favour of the following answer: one should use the term ‘obbligazione’, instead of the term ‘obbligo’.
