From the other before us to reality, interpretation is a key component of our daily experience: What is true and what is fake? What is real and what is unreal? We often rely on the credibility of the source or our intuition. Nevertheless, we find ourselves trapped in an infinite cycle of delusional interpretations, hypertrophic narcissism, marginalization, and resentment. If a solution—or at least an escape—from this cycle is possible, where can it be found? Taking inspiration from a Freudian dream, the experience of dream interpretation reveals itself as an ethics of interpretation. And it is perhaps with this incomplete ethics—one that aims at "no one"—that we can break the cycle and achieve what Lacan calls a discreet fraternity.
